Leapcode & Hacktoberfest
You are in! 👋Bye to the waitlist, welcome to Leapcode 🥳 Here is your invite code

Hey Everyone,
Celebrate Hacktoberfest with Leapcode!
Hacktoberfest is an annual month-long virtual festival to celebrate open source contributions presented by Digital Ocean, Intel and DEV. It is the easiest way to get into open source!
During the entire month of October 2020, all you have to do is contribute to any open source projects and open at least 4 pull requests. Yes, any project and any kind of contributions. You don’t need to be an expert in programming or coding. At the end of hacktoberfest you get to pick a limited edition T-shirt or plant a tree!
Interesting, how do I get started?
Our mission at Leapcode is to help you kickstart your open source contribution. We are joining the amazing folks at Hacktoberfest 2020 and listing more OS projects & resources to help you make your contributions!
So here's how to get started :
Create a Github account (here)
Head to https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com and register with your Github account.
Finally visit https://leapcode.io, sign in with your Github account & enter the invite code awesome-early-leapers-536
Make your first PR!
You do not have to worry about being in unfamiliar territory, our platform will walk you through each step until you make your first PR! Leapcode will help you understand how Github works, how to pick up issues, how to create Pull-Requests, and how to become an OS contributor.
What next?
Well, now that you've made your first Open Source contribution, its time to celebrate! 🎉

But don't forget, you need to make 4 more PRs before Oct 31 to qualify for the Hacktoberfest swag. Now that you've got the hang of Github, you can explore other OS projects on Github or stick around in leapcode and work on our curated list of beginner-friendly projects.
Either way, you're now an OS champion and we are proud of you!
Let's celebrate Open Source! 🥳
If you love OS and Leapcode, give us a shoutout at @leapcodeio
Cheers!
Sethu
